November 2025 – Trusting God for the Next Thing

Taylor Family Update

Before we share anything else, we want to start with a simple ask. Many of you have already received your copies of Marriage in His Presence, and every message we’ve gotten from those who’ve read it has meant the world to us. If the book encouraged you in any way, we would be so grateful if you’d take a moment to leave a review on Amazon. Honest reviews help the book reach couples who need hope, especially heading toward the holidays. We’ll include the link at the end.

LEAVE A REVIEW

These last several weeks have felt like the kind of season where life stretches everything at once. After so much transition, finally landing in Hawaii has come with its own kind of rebuilding. Not the dramatic kind. More like the slow, quiet work of putting your hands to ordinary things again and asking the Lord to breathe on them. Somewhere in the middle of settling, we found ourselves decorating for Christmas a little early, letting the house fill with warm lights and the smell of Keira’s famous cardamom rolls. It was one of those small comforts that made this place feel like home while everything else was finding its shape.

The first of those “ordinary things” has been home. Homeschooling became the center of our days, and those early eight-hour attempts were… ambitious. But little by little, Keira found a rhythm that brought peace back to the process. She’s the one carrying that weight, shaping the pace, shepherding the kids through it, and watching her build something steady out of chaos has been one of the bright spots of this season.

Antioch Holualoa has become one of the places where we really feel the Lord planting us. It’s been so fun watching the kids build their own little world here. Most weeks they’re tearing across the playground with their friends before and after service, completely in their element. For us, it’s been a joy to serve however we can, whether that’s helping install the new sound system or stepping in to lead worship when needed. It’s simple, steady, and life-giving in ways we didn’t expect.

Soccer wrapped up last week, and the kids finished the season strong. For the last game, I offered them five dollars per goal just for fun. Adaleigh took that challenge seriously and walked away twenty dollars richer. They’re all saving up for a fun toys now. Korban has his sights set on a Polaroid camera.

NEW MUSIC

In between all of this, the house is full of music again. We’ve been writing, recording, dreaming, and releasing songs, trying to steward what God is doing creatively in us during this season. On the days where everything else feels uncertain, worship has been one of the ways the Lord reminds us that He’s nearer than we think.

Trusting God for the Next Thing

If there’s one thing we can say with confidence right now, it’s that the Lord is with us. Even in the unknowns. Even in the stretching. Even in the long days of figuring out what our life here is supposed to look like. There’s still not a lot we can share about what’s ahead, but we really do believe the Lord is stirring things under the surface, and we’re hoping the next few months bring clarity and open doors we can’t yet see.

For now, we’re staying faithful in the small things. Building rhythms. Serving where we’re planted. Raising our kids. Seeking the presence of the Lord. And trusting that He will speak when it’s time to move.

Before we close, we want to repeat the ask we mentioned at the beginning. If Marriage in His Presence has blessed you, encouraged you, or helped your marriage in any way, would you consider writing a quick Amazon review? It doesn’t have to be long. Just honest. These reviews help the book reach people who may desperately need what the Lord put in its pages.

Thank you for walking with us, praying for us, and championing our family in this season.

Prayer Request:
Please pray that the Lord would speak simple clarity into this next season for us.
