The Story:
This past year has felt like one long storm. We stepped away from our role at Mazevo Coffee, stepped into missions in Kona, and stepped straight into a season filled with unknowns. Finances uncertain. Housing uncertain. The future cloudy at best. It has been a stretch where the waves feel tall and the wind keeps changing direction and none of it is comfortable.
But every time I read this moment in Mark, something in me steadies again. Jesus stands up in the middle of madness and speaks a single sentence. Silence. Be still. And creation obeys. The storm that terrified experienced fishermen collapsed at the sound of His voice.
And when I look back over my own life, I can count so many moments where I thought everything was about to collapse. Moments where survival didn’t make sense unless God intervened. And He did. Over and over, He spoke into my chaos and things shifted faster than I could have imagined.
This shirt is a reminder of that voice. The powerful voice of Jesus that still speaks. The voice that calms storms outside of us and storms inside of us. The voice we can trust even when nothing around us feels stable. We don’t have to partner with the chaos. We only have to partner with Him. He tells the wind where to go. He tells the waves when to fall silent. And He is still good in every season.
